Company History
Bakery Crafts was founded in 1948, in Cincinnati, Ohio, by Jack and Natalie Guttman. The first products consisted of wedding ornaments and accessories, including stair bridges, which were invented by Jack Guttman. In the subsequent 50 years, the company has sustained consistent annual growth with a product line that has grown to include thousands of items. The line includes wedding ornaments and accessories, cake decorations of all types (both everyday and seasonal), scores of licensed properties, edibles, candles, bakery tools, and equipment. Bakery Crafts has moved four times over its 50-year history as growth has outstripped facility capabilities. The most recent move occurred at the end of 1995. Bakery Crafts occupies a state of the art facility, which combines all corporate offices, manufacturing functions, and warehouse and shipping facilities.
