Overview
Badminton Australia is the national sports organisation for badminton in Australia. Badminton Australia, in partnership with its Members, the State/Territory Badminton Associations, is responsible for the management and sustainable development of the sport nationally and the management of relations internationally through the governing body for the sport, the International Badminton Federation (IBF).
Established in 1932, Badminton Australia became the eleventh member of the IBF in 1936. Badminton Australia is an active member of the Oceania Badminton Confederation (OBC) and is affiliated to the Australian Olympic Committee, (AOC), Australian Commonwealth Games Association (ACGA) and the Confederation of Australian Sport. (CAS).

To be an innovative and well recognized sports organization, building and developing with its partners, a sports system which positions badminton as an inclusive, visible, dynamic and successful racquet sport in Australia.
