Backup & Running PLC was formed in 2001 as a technology business specialising in the provision of online data backup services. Since then the business has successfully risen to become one of the leading online backup services in Europe supporting all types of business from sole traders, to SME's to large multi national, multi site organisations.We now also provide a wide range of bespoke IT infrastructure services, including servers, network design and implementation and complete disaster recovery planning.
As part of the companies expansion Backup and Running Gmbh was opened in autumn 2002 to address the German market increase our profile within Europe.
In 2003 Backup & Running joined the newly formed Access Intelligence Group, which currently comprises of three operating companies including Wired-GOV and The Marketing Guild with all three providing business building services and information on a subscription basis. Each company in the Access Intelligence group functions as a completely self regulating entity, reporting to the Access Intelligence Board on company performance, strategic planning and investment developments.
