BackAndLay.com Limited (the 'Company' or 'BackAndLay') is a private limited liability company registered in England and Wales, number 4345832. Our registered offices are at: 136, Packenham Road, Kings Furlong, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG21 8XY. BackAndLay.com Limited holds a UK bookmaker's permit and operates as a Betting Intermediary, standing as counter-party to each bet. We provide a Betting Exchange (the 'Exchange') for betting transactions conducted between our customers which is accessible online (the 'Website' facility). We do not accept bets ourselves, but we provide our customers with an automated facility for the placing of bets with each other. In return for this service, we deduct 1% commission from each customer's net winnings on an individual betting market ('Market'). The Company trades as BackAndLay. The Company is licensed as a bookmaker in England and Wales. This agreement is entered into between the Company and the customer ('you').
BackAndLay.com Limited has a Business Account with HSBC Bank plc and a Clients Account with HSBC Bank plc into which all users' deposits are made and from which all users' withdrawals are taken.
Example One: Acting as Betting Intermediary, BackAndLay accepts Punter A's bet on condition that Punter B wants a corresponding bet on the opposite result - A bets on Arsenal to beat Leeds at 6/4; B bets on Arsenal to not beat Leeds at 4/6, effectively laying 6/4 against Arsenal winning.
