I enjoy doing research and teaching what I have learned. My career is secondary education, but now it is also mothering,early child development, baby wearing, marriage and family relationships and so on. You'll find a lot of the books pertaining to these topics in the "reading room." I am married to the love of my life and we live our dream in the country where we whole heartedly practice natural family living. We are surrounded by beautiful children, nature, a small animal shelter of older and disregarded animals, trees, music, and books.
I became frustrated with the lack of information and facts about baby carriers. There is a lot of information on baby wearing but nothing on the right kind of baby carrier. Even major baby sling stores do not mention a single line on this important information. I quickly realized there wasn't much information to get here in America.. Every baby sling store or website in Europe has the information you will find on our site, openly displayed. Nobody there would advertise wearing your baby facing out,yet many baby sling stores and manufacturers here use this hold as a big part of their marketing - only the children pay the price. After researching baby carriers and reading Dr. Kirkilioinis book on baby wearing, I felt an urgent need to share the volumes of knowledge readily available to parents in Europe. You could say I am on a one woman crusade to educate other parents on what makes a good baby carrier.
My husband supports my passion for attachment parenting, early education, conserving nature, and so on. He spends endless hours listening to my ideas on our website and then sets out to implement them. He is also self employed and works hard so I can stay home and practice what I preach with our three beautiful children.
