Founded in 1960 by Mr. U.N. Baliga, the company started off with the manufacture of industrial, commercial and domestic type of luminaires. From a factory shed of 5000 Sq.ft., it has now moved to its own premises on a 6 acre plot with over 40,000 Sq.ft. of manufacturing area.
In 1962, Baliga pioneered the manufacture of Explosionproof lighting equipment in India. Ever since Baliga has been constantly widening the range and today the name has become an industry benchmark for quality.
