Welcome to Good Scents Home & Body Shop where our candles and body products are made entirely in Kentucky. Our Kentucky Proud Candles burn virtually soot-free and are not only made from 100% Soy Bean Wax (which is also made here in Kentucky) but we also use only the FINEST fragreance and essential oils to scent our hand poured candles. Now open on the 2nd floor of Victorian Square. Good Scents Home & Body offers hand poured 100% soy wax candles, handcrafted all natural soaps, over 15 customizable bath products plus all the extras for a spa treatment at home right down to the fluffy robes. Good Scents Home and Body is owned by Bryan Flynn and Ron Williams. The two have operated various concepts of the business over the past few years. After perfecting their concept and products and the daily request from internet and craft fair customers the two decided to open their first store. Flynn and Williams have created a New York loft-like décor that is minimalist and cozy at the same time providing a unique atmosphere that is contemporary, yet comfortable and sets it apart from any other bath store in the area. With over 100 plus different scents, essential oils and 15 plus base products Good Scents is able to offer customer service and individual attention to detail that is unsurpassed by any other store of its kind. At Good Scents, customers are treated to on-site custom mixing. Products are mixed fresh for each customer, to their exact fragrance specifications. Fragrances and base products are kept behind the wet bar where customers are encouraged to test products before they purchase. Customers use a menu wall and fragrance testers at the sent bar to create their own personalized order. The guys at Good Scents Home and Body then serve up product(s) to the customers’ exact specifications just like ordering a drink at your local bar. Think of it as a Bar for custom home and bath products ! Say a customer wanted their lotion & shampoo to smell like their mineral bath soak or a customer wants their soap to smell like there candle it’s no problem at Good Scents they will make it happen. The guys at Good Scents not only offer this high level of customer service but they also offer all natural, cruelty free products that are of the highest quality. Customers first come to Good Scents for the many customization options available, but return because the products themselves are second to none. With this strong emphasis placed on customer service, inventory at Good Scents is kept at a minimum. That is because our biggest seller is not a tangible product it is a process ! The process of pleasing the customer’s sense of smell, choice of colors and most of all the sense of personalization of their purchase.
