The Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Scotland received kennel club recognition in 1987, after a number of years running fun and educational events. Since the formation of the club we have had only three secretaries and a very stable committee (after over 20 years we still have founder members of the club serving on the committee). Over the years we have promoted Bernese welfare in Scotland through the club shows, seminars and our club Magazine.
