- Awards and Sports, Inc. is a full service awards and promotional products company that has been in business since 1987. The company was founded by Dean Kennett, Jim Mattos and Bill DeLany who have a combined total of 131 years of experience in the awards and promotional products business. The company began as Awards and Sports, Inc. and grew from a line of trophies to other award products and incentive/safety award programs. We also offer apparel which we can screen print or embroider such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, golf shirts, golf towels, etc. In 1997 we added a division to our company that offers a full line of promotional and advertising specialty products designed to promote your company name to your customers as well as your employees (see enclosed list of some of our products). In 2004 we moved to our new location (also in University Square) with a much larger show room. In 2005, we purchased a lazer engraver that allows us to engrave acrylics, pens, wooden plaques and much, much more. The awards division manufactures plaques and trophies and handles medals, ribbons, custom pins and medallions, certificates and personalized executive equipment and have trained staff in the area that allows the company to create distinctive corporate and organization awards. The Promotional Products Division has a staff of creative, knowledgeable people using state of the art technology to help with clients' promotional programs. We can also create specialty items upon request such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc. Awards and Sports, Inc. serves a national market with the major concentration in South Carolina. All awards and most signage products are assembled/engraved/imprinted in the company's facility in Greenville, SC. The company's customers are businesses, banks, organizations, law firms, government, schools, colleges, sports leagues and individuals.
