- We're Janice and Johnny; together we make up the total membership of the Avon Park Beach Boppers Club. After attending other dance club events throughout the southeast U.S. for years, our friends suggested we throw our own dance party; so eleven years ago with the help of dozens of volunteers from neighboring dance clubs, we put on our first annual Avon Park Beach Boppers Dance Weekend. This year will be the 12th year of our annual spring parties which have expanded to include a summer dance weekend each July and a New Years Eve dance as well. The historic Kennilworth Lodge in nearby Sebring, Florida has a great dance floor and has been a terrific host to our dance weekends. http://www.kenlodge.com/
