Why does this page look like this?
After years of colorful, imaginative homepages with lots of images, tables for layout, etc., I grew slightly tired of it. This new page is XHTML 1.0 conforming, and uses CSS for styling. It might grow more elaborate as time passes, but this'll do for now.
Who am I?
I'm Joakim Ziegler, a 27 year old "creative person" from Norway. I moved to Mexico City in June 1998 on a whim, and I'm still living here. I'm a nice guy, but I worry too much. Since the introductory paragraph above includes terms like "XHTML 1.0 conforming", you should already know that I'm some sort of geek, although an atypical one.
Intellectual pursuits include graphical design, photography, web design, programming, electronics, graphics algorithms, data encoding, cryptography, interactive fiction, literature, politics, publishing, biology (specifically evolutionary biology and genetics), history, sociology, psychology, folklore, religion, and way too many other things. I have too little spare time.
