BookHut specializes in barrister bookcases (often called lawyer's bookcases) made in the classic tradition by the venerable 100 year old Hale bookcase company. As well as continually producing heir own traditional line, Hale has acquired many of the assets of the 19th century Cincinnati company - Globe-Wernicke. The current 800 series of stacking barrister bookcases is a direct descendant of that line.
