Auto Color Co., Inc. was started by Bob and Virginia Bourne of Marietta, Georgia in February of 1966. During those 38 years of business, we've built the largest PBE Jobber business in the southeast. How? Auto Color firmly believes that quality customer service is the driving force behind its family owned company. As David Bourne, Vice president of Sales and Marketing, says of his father's customer service philosophy, "Dad taught the kids to do the right thing - even if it cost you money."
Now, with three generations of Bournes operating and managing the business (you can still find Bob on the job everyday!), Auto Color is positioning itself to grow and expand in the 21st century. And customer service is still the name of the game!
Today, Auto Color operates 18 PBE Jobber stores across Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina and a central Industrial Paint & Abrasives store, a body shop Tool & Equipment Repair Center, a Cleaning System store (commercial/industrial pressure washers) and a Spray Booth Service Team. Auto Color employs more than 120 employees and 50 contracted shop delivery drivers.
