- The Tavern, built in 1916, was originally modeled after a German Public House by architect Hugo Kuekne and served as The Enfield Grocery for the small town of Austin, population 30,000. Legends surround the building that a Speakeasy and Brothel were in operation on the second floor, and to this day, stories are still heard about the ghost of Emily who was murdered in her room upstairs.
