- A volunteer organization founded in 1983 as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, AAHSA is committed to increase awareness, visibility and services to the vulnerable members of the Austin community. We do this by holding general membership meetings on the third Thursday of every month. These meetings provide member agency representatives an opportunity to network, discuss and vote on AAHSA business, and stay informed of issues and events that affect the delivery of health and human services in the Austin area.
