- Aurora Experience was established early 2003 by three Icelandic photographers: Arnold Björnsson, Jóhann Ísberg and Sigurður H. Stefnisson. A few years earlier, or in 1998, they came up with the idea of capturing the motion of the Northern Lights on film. Having photographed the lights for years, Stefnisson for almost two decades, they felt the time was ripe for new challenges.
