On Thursday, June 1st , DC Comics will release a very special comic - Superman/Batman #26. Superman/Batman and TVs Lost writer, Jeph Loeb has teamed up with many of the comic industrys brightest stars to produce a tribute comic plotted by Loebs son, Sam, who lost his battle with cancer last year.
Atomic Comics is donating the proceeds from this comics sale to the Sam Loeb College Scholarship Fund. In Jeph's words - the idea is to give one senior student, per year, a gift of $10,000 to help them with college. It can go toward books, housing, tuition etc. The student is chosen as the one who best exemplifies Sam's spirit, in other words, brilliant and funny.
