The original Atomic Coffee machine was produced in Milan from 1947 up until 1984. The early models are rare, and look different to the later machines. Although the basic shape of the body remains unchanged, the design has been progressively improved over the years. These days there are over 20 variations of the Atomic Coffee machine. It is unusual for a design icon to improve over the years, but most people agree that the later Atomics were the most beautiful.
