20 years ago in March, Bill Lawson and his brother were studying a certain slot in a piece of PVC well screen. They wondered if Bill could design a machine that could cut the slot just so. Atlantic Screen was off to a creative start.
In 1984 Bill and his wife Pat bought out his brother's interest because, as the owners put it, "his interests lay elsewhere." What has happened to the company since Bill and Pat took over completely is a testament to teamwork, hard work, dedication, vision and ethics.
The result of Bill's and Pat's endless efforts and hours is impressive. Sales have increased three fold since 1984 with the current sales for one day reportedly equaling the sales for one entire month in 1980.
