- Our story begins in 2001 as we listened to Howard Garrett "The Dirt Doctor" and began to use Corn Gluten Meal to get rid of grass burrs in our yard. The next year we noticed a signifcant reduction in weeds in our yard and we began to try a few other things such as Cedar Mulch to repel mosquitos, Compost for our 'beds" and a few other products.
