Founder and Director Bob Summerfield was first introduced to Astronomy by his third grade teacher. It became a full-blown love affair with the science at Cheltenham High School where Bob could usually be found hiding out and working in the school’s planetarium. He has been involved with teaching Astronomy to the Adult School classes there since 1979, and even met his wife Lisa there who was a student in his class.
