- The Association for Senior Day Health was founded in 1976 to support the Senior Day Health Center of Palo Alto by fundraising, volunteering, and promoting the visibility of the Program in the community. This Program, which has also been in operation since 1976 serves the frail elderly by providing activities, socialization, and therapies for many whose conditions would otherwise confine them to their homes.
