Incorporated in 1997, the Artisans Center of Virginia (ACV) supports and promotes the culture of Virginia artisans through education, entrepreneurship, research, galleries and exhibitions. The Center believes that quality, handmade craft strengthens the cultural, educational and economic vitality of local communities. The Artisans Center is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) visual arts organization and is led by a professional staff and a volunteer board of trustees.
