- Jewelry artist, Deborah Kwitney, has been creating art in one form or another for as long as she can recall. It started in the Finger Lakes region of New York on a rainy spring day when she made pies from wet dirt and “baked” them until they were done.
- Another memory takes place in an elementary school classroom. The art project for that morning was to “copy” a picture of a little boy standing with a fishing pole displaying his catch of the day.
