- The Tinley Park “Arts Alive” Community Band is active year-round sharing their talent and bringing the sound of live concert band and jazz music to Tinley Park and surrounding communities. The band was established in 1987 under the Tinley Park-Park District's “Arts Alive!” program to encourage, promote, teach and perform the fine arts.
- The band performs often throughout Tinley Park and the surrounding area. Many of these concerts are FREE or have a very low admission fee, making an afternoon or evening of live music affordable and family-friendly.
