My grandmother used to tell stories about how her family left the tiny highland village of Applecross, Scotland nearly two hundred years ago to make a new life in Canada. Having crossed another ocean to come and live in Australia, I wanted to bring with me something of the past to build on for the future. So Applecross Designs was born. These needlework kits reflect my long involvement and fascination with counted thread embroidery.
