Amado started writing and recording around 1987, and in the early 90s he started toward a Music degree. As his knowledge of music increased, he put more complex harmonic and formal structures into his writing. He also learned about the world of Jazz, and by the mid 90s had a solid repertoire of old school standards, and experience performing them. Since then he's been performing in Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Central Florida.
