The core of what comprises AOC today was formed in 1994 through a joint venture of the resin businesses of two companies - The Alpha Corporation of Collierville, Tennessee, and Owens Corning of Toledo, Ohio. Alpha was a leading producer and innovator of open mold resins while Owens Corning’s domination was in closed mold resins.
