- The Muslim Community of Knoxville (MCK) has been serving the Muslims in the Greater Knoxville area since the early 1980s. MCK is registered as a non-profit organization with the State of Tennessee. The MCK works in close cooperation with other Muslim organizations in the area, most notably:
- The Muslim Students Association of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville . Established in the 1980's to dispel misconceptions about Islam to the general campus community and also to build an on-campus Muslim community.
