Animal Replacement Technologies was founded in 2005 by a team of medical device engineers, surgeons, and scientists to develop a novel system of synthetic body parts for the medical device industry. Our growing portfolio of patented and patent-pending simulation products includes sophisticated models that replicate human anatomy in great detail, including individual muscles, tendons, veins, arteries, and organs. These models are made from synthetic analog materials that mimic the properties of living tissues, and are used by both large and small medical device manufacturers to replace fixtures, cadavers, and even live animals in product development tests.
