- I’d always feared moving to Toronto because of the heat and humidity. I’ve managed to fare quite well, especially when you consider that the air conditioning at work sucks and I wear a dress shirt, tie, and labcoat while working in a cramped room with a screaming and kicking child. I take some sort of masochistic pride in not having turned on the A/C in my apartment all summer.
