- served as Vice President of Corporate Development at LHS Group, the world's leading wireless customer care and billing company.
- was a founding member of the management team for Priority Call Management, an innovative telecom software company.
- was also an early employee at hDC Computer, a software company in Redmond, WA.
- served as the assistant to the Director of Finance and Manufacturing and managed the financial control and information system as well as coordination of relationships with outside manufacturers and vendors.
- 1988-90 he worked as an investment banker and venture capitalist with Smith Barney in New York where he was involved in reorganizations for Revco Drugstores, Sunbeam Appliance Company, and Eastern Airlines.
