Andrée Valley lives in Madison WI, currently teaches clay sculpture and alternative firing methods at MATC and makes bright colored forms in both ceramics and metal. For over 30 years, Andrée Valley has worked in clay, metal and paper as a studio artist. She finds different mediums invigorating. Despite the eclectic nature of the materials, her work is unified by a common visual theme of color, abstracted symbols and a sense of playfulness.
