I would be remiss if I failed to acknowledge Momhood at this special time of year. What a celebration it should be! And while I know many moms I could honor, I’m going to let these two great women represent them all. The first is my own mom. She was born in 1899, the same year as my dad. They married late, and I was not born until she was 34 years old, but her youthful spirit and commitment to her children were as great as any woman’s I know.
