- As you can see here, it's a tiny creek on the land at Shannon Farm ? (Right now it's in it's winter-time glory, soon to be replaced with a beautiful spring/summer shot!) Mike, Virginia ?, and Helen ?, all live within a half-mile of the creek, which feeds into the lake. The creek has been a major home to beavers over the years. It's been an on-again-off-again fight, replete with loud music, screens wrapped on trees, hot pepper sauce, and even in the beginning, guns. Right now though, it seems we may have bored them out of existence.
