Hi,
Our Names are Roger and Wendy Quaid and we have been working on building a private mountain top cabin get-away in Arkansas. We have been very fortunate and blessed to have been able to enjoy a view on top of a 20 acre piece of property 20 minutes outside of Little Rock. We wanted to share this with friends, family, and others that wanted to get away and enjoy a peaceful, romantic couple of days.
We built our Log House in 2002 while Wendy was going through Chemo Theraphy for Breast Cancer. It taught us that every day is truly a blessing and enjoy every day and don't postpone things that you want to accomplish.
In 2006 we had enough energy and help from family (Wendy's Dad) and friends (Uncle Al) to build An Enchanting Evening - A Luxury Log Cabin Getaway. This has given us the opportunity to see if we enjoy running a bed and breaksfast and has allowed us a way to start our own business.
The first guests arrived prior to us finishing the cabin and wrote some lovely items in the guest book about dancing under the stars on the back deck and truly enjoying themselves. This meant that we had done things correctly, and many memorable times will be had in the cabin.... just like we envisioned.
Anyway, I hope if you are reading this that you are interested in coming out and sharing in our little slice of paradise in Arkansas. We hope that every visitor to the cabin truly does have An Enchanting Evening and we are committed to this.
