Alpha Base was founded in 1983 by Barry Weingart, a pioneer in the Data Processing Industry. ABS's first product was the basis of an Applications creation system integrated to anHierarchical Data Base engine written in assembler to run on Alpha Micro computers and the AMOS operating system - which was the very first multi-user micro computer system on the market.
