Allan’s Walk Artist Run Space Inc (AWARS) is an Artist Run Initiative (ARI) in Bendigo, central Victoria governed by a Committee of Management (CoM). Since its inception in 2000, AWARS has supported over 250 artists – the majority of whom are regionally based emerging practitioners – through its Application Based Program. In 2009 AWARS launched two additional arms of artistic programming – the Discursive & Development Program and Projects Program.
