NASHUA – From $1.6 million to pay principals next year to a few thousand dollars in a department’s transportation budget, aldermen went line by line Monday night, quizzing school officials on next year’s proposed budget. Monday was the school department’s turn to go before the aldermanic budget review committee, which is charged with giving a recommendation to the full board for whether to pass the budget as is or make changes.
