Welcome to AlcoholCME.com! With funding from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), we developed a comprehensive educational program to teach physicians and other health professionals about alcohol use disorders and treatment. The program consists of a suite of CME courses, including both alcohol science and best practice topics. The core curriculum (5 courses) has been designed to encourage primary care physicians to increase their involvement in recognizing, treating, and managing alcohol use disorders (abuse and dependence). In addition to didactic content, the site features a series of "live talks," which are presentations--including original slides, audio, and written transcripts--from several alcohol-related conferences.
