pulled from site's meta descriptionAlbertina Sisulu Centre was named and founded by Mrs. Albertina Sisulu. Before the establishment of the centre, priority needs were identified. Amongst the needs was a school for learners with special educational needs and an ECD centre. The Sisulu family saw it fit to contribute to the people of Soweto by building a centre that will try to address those needs. The Sisulu family trust in partnership with the government injected millions of rand to build the centre. The centre started operating as a registered school for learners with special educational needs in may 2004.
