Welcome to the AlachuaExchange.com, a service of the Alachua County Public Works Department, Office of Waste Alternatives. While our focus is on Alachua County, Florida, any company or individual with access to the Internet may DONATE and FIND materials and items at no cost.
All participants in the AlachuaExchange.com must have a valid email address and valid contact information. In order to LOG ON, the participant must establish a username and password.
All DONATE IT items are to be offered at no cost. Each listing will be reviewed by Waste Alternatives staff prior to posting. Hazardous materials will be referred to the Solid Waste Information Exchange (SWIX). Accepted DONATE IT listings will be posted within two business days. The donor can choose whether to automatically remove the item after 30 days, or remove it after it is exchanged.
