Imagine an Alaska where everyone breathes easily. Where no one gets lung cancer, emphysema or tuberculosis. Where no one dies of a smoking-related illness. Where children and their parents live without fear of an acute asthma attack. Where youth don't smoke, the air is clear and everyone's home and workplace is free of allergens, mold, airborne toxins and secondhand smoke. In this imagined Alaska, the American Lung Association® in Alaska's (ALA in Alaska) job would be finished.
