Alvin J. Coleman began his business in 1940. He started out with a bulldozer, two trucks and an unsurpassed work ethic. He instilled that work ethic in his son Calvin“Buzz” Coleman who joined him at a young age and who has passed it to the next generation, his sons, Noah and Curtis. Alvin J. Coleman & Son was incorporated in 1962. Today, AJC is still a family run company, however, the scope has changed considerably.
