Aiken's Airplanes was founded in 1997 as a result of experiences encountered in collecting for our own personal collection. We looked in stores every where, called around and even surfed the net for hours. What we found was that airplanes in general are terribly under represented in the market place. For example, on a popular auction web site there are numerous subcategories in the collectible category but no aviation/airplane subcategory.
