In February 2008, the current equity partners were introduced to a proposed Tilapia fish farming project, based on a concept of utilising on-site produced Duckweed as a fish feed. Subsequently, substantial research was done resulting in further refinement to the proposed model by applying the best attributes of a variety of existing Tilapia farming models, which are currently in commercial existence.
