Ad Industries was founded in Denver, Colorado in 1956 as an advertising specialty distributor. In 1956 a small satellite sales office was opened by Richard Wurzel. At that time the company became focused on ring binders and related products, as very little production was being done in our Van Nuys facility and it wasn't until 1974 that we went into full scale production. Our primary line of products at that time were vinyl, poly and turned edge binders.
