About

The Cultural Alliance of Greater Birmingham began the development of activeculture.info over a year ago as a result of the Cultural Master Plan, which grew out of the Region 2020 planning for the 12-county region. A grant from Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Alabama funded the web site development. The web site architecture was constructed by Kinetic Communications, a Birmingham-based web developer.
