- Acorn Storage Center is celebrating 25 years of meeting the storage needs of Bartlesville area residents. The first Acorn Storage facility was founded and developed by Clyde W. Sare, an area native, in 1977. An industry pioneer, Sare was instrumental in introducing the first computerized management and access control system to the national mini-storage market in 1982. The management and security systems developed in Bartlesville are now currently in use nationwide and being marketed by DCAL Computer Systems of Bartlesville.
