It's been 20 years since Ernest hung up his shingle on the main street of Port Elgin, making Ackert Insurance Brokers Inc. a reality. From our beginning in Port Elgin and further expansion to a second office location in Chesley (1999), we have enjoyed a high-paced growth over the years, and have become recognized as one of the leading brokerages in the area. Ernest is retired now, and ownership has evolved into the hands of Jairus, Becky, and Linda.
